Team Lead for Function Controlling (f/m/d)

A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Team Lead for Function Controlling (f/m/d) within the SE FIN GS BC SO organisation, you will be at the forefront of acting as business partner for SE GS Solution Functions. Your role will involve driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the Solution organization of SE GS. Your primary focus will be on optimizing cost controlling processes by implementing AI and Dash solutions, ensuring effective budget planning, and providing insightful analysis of forecasts and actuals. You will lead a global team, coaching and developing team members to achieve their full potential. Each day, your leadership will strengthen financial performance and enhance accountability across all functions of Solution business.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Lead the financial performance management of cost centres by preparing, consolidating, and analysing forecasts, budgets, and monthly closings
• Act as a business partner by conducting reasonable analyses of key financial drivers for cost centres, delivering clear financial reports that include deviation analyses and actionable performance insights
• Implement and oversee standardized processes and automation initiatives, leverage AI where applicable to streamline operations.
• Develop and implement dashboards that provide real-time insights into cost centre performance and manpower utilization
• Collaborate with various functions to address complex setup topics, accounting questions, and reporting issues, ensuring reliable financial steering and alignment with organizational goals

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Extensive experience in financial controlling, FP&A, budgeting, and corporate finance within a complex business environment
• Proven leadership capabilities in developing and managing teams of experienced finance professionals
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business decisions
• Excellent knowledge of SAP applications, financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvement within a global matrix organization
• Fluent English communication skills; German is beneficial for collaboration within the local business environment

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
