To support our growth and take our products to the next level, we are seeking an experienced Senior Software Product Owner to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the product vision that directly contributes to business success. You will work closely with cross - functional teams to develop products that are both innovative and high - quality, addressing real cu stomer needs. You will be responsible for the product roadmap, requirements gathering, and product launch. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that the product is built to specification and meets the needs of the customer.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Engage with customers, prospects, and stakeholders to understand their needs, translating these insights into actionable requirements for the development team to create innovative products that exceed expectations.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams, ensuring alignment with product goals and prioritizing the product backlog to maximize customer value.
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, fostering continuous improvement within the team and product while collaborating closely with UX/UI designers to enhance user-centered designs and overall user experience.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for product innovation, while measuring and analyzing product performance indicators to inform future developments.
- Provide demos of new features and functionality for internal and external stakeholders, write and maintain comprehensive product documentation, and contribute to marketing and sales initiatives.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor products, analyzing data and feedback to drive informed decision-making for ongoing product enhancements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master degree preferred
- Extensive experience as a Product Owner in a similar role, ideally in the Energy Sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe 6.0). Experience in SaaS or other subscription - based businesses preferred.
- Proven track record of leading products from conception to market, showcasing exceptional analytical skills and experience in using data to inform decision-making. Technical background or experience working closely with engineering /software development teams preferred.
- Experience in delivering complex software including fair knowledge in Devops, Software release management and operations management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively, complemented by strong leadership qualities to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to understand software development processes and effectively articulate requirements. Fair knowledge of project management software such as Atlassian (Jira) is highly welcome.
- Experience in managing, supporting, and organizing social media communities of software developers, fostering collaboration and engagement within the tech community.

In the central Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) organization we are responsible for developing software solutions for both internal and external customers. In DPS our SW products cover already today a wide range of different categories, and we see many opportunities for growth: Asset Performance Management, Energy Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Health Prediction, Customer Portal & AI assisted Applications, Connectivity & Edge, Backend Core / Domain / Platform Services and Professional Services. As a global team we are aiming towards the SAFe 6.0 process standards in our daily way of working.
