Senior Software Product Manager (m/f/x)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As the Senior Software Product Manager (m/f/x), you own the strategy, business success, and lifecycle of our retail device asset management software solutions. You combine market insights, customer needs, and technical innovation to deliver profitable software products and solutions for global markets. Working closely with R&D, sales, service, marketing, and international subsidiaries, you drive product direction from concept to market success. 

• Full business ownership for the retail software product, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, roadmap and lifecycle cost optimization. Conduct market and competitive analyses to derive strategic product decisions. 
• Collaborate closely with software development, marketing, sales, service, and global subsidiaries. 
• Presentations of the software and features to sales organizations and customers. Support sales in complex software offerings and customized solutions. 
• Plan and manage marketing communication and product positioning. 
• Provide regular reporting on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

What You Need to Succeed

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• Several years (3-5 years) of experience in software product management. 
• Understanding of software integrations, cloud and enterprise software environments. 
• Experience with agile methodologies, requirement management, and product lifecycle management. 
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer value, technical feasibility, and business outcomes. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment. 
• Fluent in English, fluent in German is beneficial; additional languages are advantageous. 
• Willingness to travel internationally.
