Process Engineer (f/m/d) for GT Auxiliary Systems with SAP expertise

A Snapshot of Your Day 

You work closely with engineering, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional project teams to deliver gas turbine auxiliary systems. Your day includes creating and updating engineering documentation, supporting project execution activities, and coordinating technical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders. You also contribute to the digitalization of engineering processes, support colleagues using SAP S/4HANA engineering-related modules, and ensure project requirements, quality standards, and supplier deliverables are met throughout the project lifecycle.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Responsibility for customer order engineering activities for gas turbine auxiliary systems
• Creation and maintenance of piping and instrumentation diagrams as well as preparation of engineering documentation, specifications, drawings, data sheets, and parts lists
• Support of data-driven project execution methods and implementation of digitalized engineering processes across multiple teams
• Provision of user support for engineering-related SAP S/4HANA applications and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Coordination of suppliers for engineering and manufacturing activities, including progress monitoring, quality assurance, documentation review, and acceptance inspections
• Clarification and coordination of technical interfaces with customers, suppliers, site personnel, engineering partners, and internal stakeholders

What You Bring

• Degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline, combined with professional experience in project execution
• Experience in at least one relevant engineering field and a strong understanding of engineering project environments
• More than 2 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA, including basic knowledge of Materials Management (MM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Passion for process simplification, automation, digitalization, and openness to new technologies and modern ways of working
• Analytical mindset, structured working approach, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, very good English language proficiency, and willingness to develop innovative solutions in interdisciplinary teams

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof,  steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings,  modernization, and digitalization of the fleet
