Head of Installation, Commissioning & Warranty (f/m/d)

A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Head of Installation, Commissioning & Warranty (ICW), you lead and shape a global organization responsible for Installation, Commissioning, and Warranty activities across all regions. Reporting to the VP Global Project Management, you drive a globally aligned ICW operating model and lead the transformation and harmonization of global ICW execution from project handover through commissioning to warranty closure.

You provide disciplinary leadership for key ICW organizations and functional leadership across further regional ICW entities worldwide. In this role, you lead and influence an international setup of approximately 40 employees and additional functional ICW resources.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the global ICW organization across regions, combining direct leadership and functional guidance for worldwide ICW entities
• Establish global governance, aligned execution standards, and clear priorities across all ICW units 
• Ensure excellence in Installation, Commissioning, and Warranty execution across projects, including contractual, technical, and commercial compliance
• Lead and integrate Sales & Execution Support globally, ensuring robust bid support through cost estimation, execution strategy development, schedule planning, resource allocation, and risk & opportunity management
• Define and implement a global ICW operating model, including standardized processes, tools, KPIs, and reporting structures 
• Oversee global field service and commissioning resource planning, including workforce and competency development
• Act as senior escalation partner for customers and internal stakeholders, while driving lessons learned, CAPA, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field 
• Extensive experience, preferably more than 10 years, in Installation & Commissioning, Warranty Field Service, or Project Execution 
• Proven leadership experience in global, regional, and matrix organizations 
• Strong technical understanding of rotating equipment and related systems
• Solid commercial, contractual, and project execution know-how
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and stakeholder management in complex global setups 
• Fluent English skills, with additional regional language skills as an advantage, combined with the willingness and ability to travel internationally as required for customer, project, and regional business needs
