Director Strategic Data Analytics (m/f/d)

As Director Strategic Data Analytics (m/f/d), you will be part of Fresenius Kabi's Market Intelligence team within Corporate Development. You will shape the global market data foundation for understanding market performance, supporting business planning and informing senior management decisions. At the intersection of business strategy, market intelligence and data analytics, you will establish trusted analytical standards, turn complex data into insights and enable data-based decision-making across business segments.

Purpose / Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and governance of global market models, establishing a single source of truth and driving its compliant use across markets and business areas.
• Establish market definitions, segmentation logic and analytical methodologies in alignment with senior stakeholders across business units, regions and corporate functions.
• Develop and continuously improve data and forecasting models to assess market developments and competitive dynamics.
• Process and transform large datasets, including data cleansing, harmonization, and classification, using Python, PySpark or comparable technologies where appropriate.
• Establish data quality controls, documentation and governance processes, and critically assess the coverage, methodology, and limitations of data sources.
• Provide an external market perspective to support CEO country visits, budget and planning processes, the Annual Report and other senior-management discussions, helping stakeholders better understand business performance, market dynamics and competitive developments.
• Support strategic initiatives and management requests with concise, evidence-based analyses, scenarios and executive-ready presentations.
• Work closely with Finance, Commercial Excellence, Portfolio Management, ESG/Communications and other functions to combine market data and business perspectives into a shared understanding of performance, market dynamics and strategic opportunities.
• Apply AI and modern analytics tools to improve data processing, quality assurance, forecasting and decision support.

Your qualifications:

• University degree in business administration, economics, data analytics, science, pharmacy, healthcare management or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in Market Intelligence, analytics, strategy, business planning or a comparable field.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or MedTech industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in data modelling, forecasting and data-quality management, including the development of robust business rules and analytical methodologies.
• Strong understanding of market data and the ability to critically assess data sources, coverage, assumptions, methodologies and limitations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong track record of translating complex analyses into clear insights, recommendations and compelling presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in applying AI and language models in a professional environment; hands-on knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL or comparable data-processing technologies is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or comparable analytics platforms is an advantage.
• Strong project-management and collaboration skills, with the confidence to align, influence and constructively challenge stakeholders.
• A creative, curious and solutions-oriented mindset, combined with a high degree of accuracy and independence.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills; German is an advantage.
